About This Resource
Trust the Count – Making 10 is an interactive Google Slides activity that uses coloured dot visuals. It draws on Ronit Bird’s research to help students learn number bonds to ten.
Use it whole-class on a whiteboard, in small-group rotations, or during 1:1 intervention to explicitly model bonds to ten. Teachers can assign the slides in Google Classroom for no‑prep practice or click through them for guided instruction. Regular short daily practice helps build familiarity and accuracy.
